Hi, I’m Allison and I love food. As a fundamental of our lives, I am really happy about that. This was not always the case and because of my own issues, I have experienced the lows, deficiencies and poor health an inadequate diet will provide. Fortunately, through self-learning, reading copious books on nutrition and my own desire to lead a healthier happier life I have now been reaping the rewards of highly nutritious foods for many years.
They say we are what we eat but in reality, we are only what we absorb, which leaves many of us in a poorly nourished state. However, through knowledge and our diets, we can help ourselves maximise our energy levels, to manage our weight, improve sleep and overall health.
I generally work with women facing the trials and tribulations that can come with ageing by supporting them to experience the benefits of a healthy eating plan. Regain their zest and vigour for life. However, I do believe that the food we eat impacts the way we feel and whatever your problem I am happy to help.
After 40 years of working in London, I decided the time was right to concentrate on nutritional therapy and share my knowledge. I qualified after 3 years at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) and am a member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists (BANT) and registered with the Complementary & National Healthcare Council (CNHC). I am also a Zest4life health coach and Lorisian practitioner.
